I provide psychotherapy and counselling to individuals and couples dealing with a full range of emotional, relational, sexual and psychological problems.
Whilst most of my work is with adults, I am also experienced in working with adolescents. My practice is based in Glasgow, and is easy to get to and convenient for transport links.
I have over fifteen years experience in counselling and psychotherapy. I obtained my Diploma in Counselling in 1997, and have been in full time practice since that time. After completing my Diploma, I undertook postgraduate training in Psychotherapy. I am a fully qualified and registered psychotherapist, and a Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst. (see page on qualifications and registrations for more details and links to verify this)
I now provide clinical supervision for other psychotherapists and counsellors across the UK and Europe. I teach on the M.Sc programmes in TA Counselling and Psychotherapy at The Counselling and Psychotherapy Training Institute (CPTI) in Edinburgh, where I teach fourth year students. I am an Associate Director on the M.Sc programme in TA Psychotherapy at The Berne Institute, near Nottingham and I am a senior lecturer in TA and Integrative Psychotherapy at The Athens Synthesis Centre, Greece. I am a former member of the ITA's Training Standards Committee and I am also an International Expert for the Training Accreditation Council for the European Association for Psychotherapy- visiting, inspecting and advising psychotherapy training institutes throughout Europe. I am currently engaged in doctoral research with the University of Leicester on TA psychotherapy for the treatment of depression.
